National Bank of Oman’s pioneers Branch Operational Excellence training programme

National Bank of Oman has recently launched a new training programme, Branch Operational Excellence, across all 64 of its branches. The training initiative has been established to help National Bank of Oman employees enhance customers’ personal experiences when visiting a branch by providing a better, faster and more efficient service.

With the aim to instil career-enriching skills in employees across every National Bank of Oman branch, the Branch Operational Excellence training programme has been developed as the Bank continues to focus on increasing the quality of its offering across each department. Through the Branch Operational Excellence initiative, National Bank of Oman employees will be trained to use effective techniques, which can improve operational efficiency and result in a better service for customers.​


The emphasis that National Bank of Oman places on training its employees and helping them gain essential knowledge and skills is a well-defined strategic focus for the Bank. National Bank of Oman is renowned for its devotion and investment in training schemes, which can provide long-term benefits and success for the Bank in the future.


Mr. Nasser Al Hajri, General Manager and Chief Human Resource Officer at National Bank of Oman, said: “The Branch Operational Excellence training programme is another significant step forward for the Bank as it continues to establish industry-leading initiatives which enhance customers’ experience when banking with us. Implementing this development scheme across 64 branches means that a large number of our employees will surely benefit by receiving training on important career-enhancing skills.

As part of its principle to provide high-level development programmes for employees, the Bank’s Academy of Excellence has launched several training initiatives for staff across the bank, including the successful and on-going courses that focus on personal and professional development schemes.
